Im a young man but Real estate seems like a nice way to make some cash. What can you tell me about it

1. Do lots of reseach, there are several approaches to real estate - renting, flipping, selling for others, renting for others. Know your market.
2. As a Realtor you are an independent contractor. You will need all of your own equipment, computer, digital camera, editing software and be an expert in each. You will need a good bit of cash to get started and be prepared to work long hours for many days in a row before you cash your first check. Then you want to make sure you are working for the right Broker. By the way all of your listings belong to the Broker. So if you get say 10 Friends homes to sell, then you move to another company, the Listings stay with the Broker. Did I mention the Broker gets all the money and you have a deal with them to get part of it back. As the price of gas goes through the roof you better like people. Because you will be carrying a lot of people around to look at homes that park their car. How is your skills in Business Law or contract law. If you’re not up on it you can get Realtor’s Insurance for when a customer sues you. But it’s a FUN JOB
