I have a friend who is in the real estate business? I just want to know how much does a real estate sales associate make a year in the city of San Francisco.

1. Real estate is usually comission based, so it all depends on how much and what he sells. If he's selling high dollar property, he could be doing pretty well. I know people living in tiny suburban areas pulling in millions, but others barely making anything.
