Real Estate??

Ok so my dad is doing Real Estate and is greatt at it. Now he wants me to do it and honestly im not that into it as he is. He wants me to be an agent and work at his office. I dunno if i wana do that. He tells me i can make great money. Some of my friends tell me i should because i could use my looks to help me sell or help buyers... Its soo hard tho. And i hate the exam!! I dont wana upset my dad if i tell him i dont wana do it.. Ughhhh, i dunno :( To top that, my dad said if i pass my exam and get my license and start making $ he'll buy me whatever i want!!! What would u do??

1. if it can make you happy for the money or for the type of job, try it, howerver you should talk with him sincerly i hope you'll understand what you want and i hope you'll have success
2. You have a mind of your own use it, find a job that YOU want to do.
3. I have the advantage of being 40 years old and knowing how the world works now. If I were 20 or 21 I wouldn't have known this and probably would have made a great mistake... When I went to college for engineering there were a ton of other people who were there to please their parents. They didn't know anything about engineering and didn't really want to be there. It showed. They failed out and had to change majors or drop out of college. In this case you dad really wants you to do this. He is hoping that you'll share his passion and his success (he really is trying to do well for you and he thinks this is the way to do it). He figures you just need a little enticing and it is pretty nice enticement. If you don't share the passion for it, you won't be good at it and you won't make money at it. You will also have the resentment of the other people who work for him when you get preferential treatment. If you think it is hard you will dread it and it will show in your job performance. As hard as it is to tell him no, just think of the mess you might create if you say yes. good luck!
